Parents often ask us "How could I have avoided head lice altogether?" Lice spread by direct head contact with someone who has head lice. What makes it extremely difficult to get rid of, is that we ignore the signs that head lice maybe present.
Like with so many other things in life, is we attack the problem fast, it easier to resolve. Ignoring the
early warning signs of head lice give the lice eggs, the nits, time to reproduce.
If kids are scratching.. go to your pediatrician, school nurse, or
a lice center for a head check. If lice or nits are found, treat the child as
quickly as possible.
